Blue Angels

If you've never been to an air show, it's really worth your time. We went to one in Mountain Home and we LOVED it! We sat right in the front row of the show and all had our earplugs in and just got chills everytime they flew right by us! We had the Blue Angels in town over the 24th of July weekend and we didn't get tickets to the show. They were pretty pricey! We did spend time watching them on Saturday from our back porch and along the highway on our way home from getting groceries. Everyone else had to stop and park on the side of the road also. You couldn't help but look out your window and look up in the sky to see the amazing tricks they were doing.

Sunday we decided to head into Idaho Falls to find a place to watch the jets fly overhead. We found a park and tried to stay cool in the shade of the trees. The trees made it a little more tricky to see all that the jets were doing but we did get a quite a few fly overs were we sat!
Kenzie and Madison loved trying to figure out what direction the jets would fly over us.

Mayci just loved drinking out of everyone's water bottles.

Braydon loved that dad brought his binoculars. He was trying to see the pilots as they flew overhead!

Austin had a few things to finish up from scout camp. He did that in between the fly overs.

I think we both just enjoyed being outside with our great kids! I got chills everytime a jet would fly overhead and we were impressed with how close they can fly to each other and not crash. It was a very impressive thing to watch and I can't wait for the next air show.
