Braydon had the chance to play basketball for the first time the past few months. As soon as football was done, we had him on a team coached by his football coach. Braydon hasn't ever played basketball and he learned quickly what to do. He learned very fast that basketball is not like football or baseball. You run ALOT!!! His team was actually split up into 3 different teams. The A team being the ones that have played before and know what's going on. The B and C teams were those that hadn't played as much before.
Braydon spent each week playing on the B team and ended up playing on the C team for most of their games so he could get some more playing time in. He had 2 games each week and spent a lot of time running the court. He definitely needs another year on the court to get really good but he didn't do too bad.
He's #10 in this picture:

One of his games were down at Snake River Middle School and so we ventured down to that game. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Hopkins to come watch since they live less than 15 minutes away. It was fun to visit and watch Braydon play.

My girls all spent the time outs running around the gym and wearing themselves out. They also played on the bleachers for most of the game.

We'll see if he plays basketball again. He really thinks that football and baseball will be his sports. We'll all have fun watching him in anything he plays.
