Week in Utah Part 2

We decided that we needed a water day! Monday was that day. Actually, everyday ended up being a water day! Tiff and I took Aaron down to the airport that morning and when we got back from SLC, the kids all had their swimsuits on and were spending time running through the sprinklers and sliding down the slip-n-slide. The trampoline was a hit too. You just have to have the sprinklers on under the trampoline or it wouldn't be summertime.

We thought it would be fun to entertain the kids with a car wash. I remember as a kid pulling the van onto the front lawn and giving it a good washing. We told the kids that their payment for washing and cleaning out vehicles would be popsicles!!!! That got them out front in a hurry.

This was the cutest picture!! These 2 girls were smelling the sunscreen. They each had a different sunscreen in their hands and then after smelling the one, they handed it off to the other one. They must have been comparing smells or seeing which one smelled better!
These girls did a great job getting Uncle Chris' car looking all sparkly!
Here's the whole car washing gang.
Marisa, Braydon, Carson, Mayci, Paul, Madison, Emily, Kenzie, Austin, Rachel, Tiffany
You have to vaccum out the vehicles after you wash them. Especially after all of the sand we brought home with us from Willard Bay! Carson just loved cleaning out the inside of the van. He actually loves anything to do with a vehicle. He was the only one that called the rims, rims. Everyone else called them tires!

Mayci wasn't the best helper with the car wash but she loved taking stuff out of the van!
The kids found bubble wrap to step on to entertain them while they ate their popsicles!
These 2 moms were tired after the car wash was over. Grandma was pretty wiped out after the farewell the day before. She got some down time Monday afternoon and I think that helped her out a bit! She's kind of an amazing mom and does so much for everyone. That's probably why we all like hanging out with her!

These girls had a blast sliding down the big slip-n-slide!
