We had movie night later after dinner and it was nice to just hangout doing nothing!
Wednesday was our day down in SLC. We headed out around 9:30 or so. We packed a lunch and made our way down to Liberty Park to have a picnic. There were WAY too many people there. We didn't spend very long playing but it was nice to get outside and enjoy a picnic!
Austin, Paul and Braydon were good buds the whole week. (Braydon is the one taking most of the pictures!)

We all enjoyed the cookies! Mayci had her fair share of cookies that day!
For some reason, Tiff ended up with 3 pops in her posession! She couldn't remember which one was hers and she didn't know how she ended up with all of them! (I personally think that she was really drinking all of them and blamed the kids. Silly Tiff!)
After lunch we headed to Temple Square! It was a hot afternoon, like 100 degrees!!!! It probably wasn't the best idea to tour Temple Square but it sure was fun with the group we were with! There is never a lack of laughter when we all get together!
Our first stop was a tour of the conference center. We thought that would be a good way to stay cool and we were right. I love air-conditioned buildings. Our tour group consisted of our family and a very cute couple. I've been on a tour before and been to many concerts there. My mom on the other hand has never toured the Conference Center. That was kind of funny to us since she sings there every week and does many concerts there, you'd think they'd show them the place! She just sees all of the parts that we don't get to see on the tour. The tour guide was good and had all of the boys stepping only on the shiny squares on the ground and the girls only stepping on the light gray squares. That, of course, made us laugh more!
This isn't the best picture but it's Austin's favorite story, the 2,000 stripling warriors!
Uncle Chris was so good with these 2 girls. They kept running around and so we decided to strap them into the stroller. Uncle Chris was so good at keeping them in the stroller and entertained at the same time! (The girls needed a drink and instead of getting them out of the stroller, he lifted the stroller up and pushed the button on the drinking fountain. Tiff and I just laughed and helped push the button while he lifted first one side of the stroller, and then the other! What a character!!!)
This was at the end of our tour! The top of the Conference Center is so amazing. The gardens and the fountains are something you just don't picture being at the top of a building!
We made it to the top of the Joseph Smith building. That place brings back good memories since that is where Justin proposed to me! Now I have 5 beautiful kids and an amazing husband to create new memories with! Too bad that Justin wasn't there for this fun memory. We did get Uncle Chris in this memory though!

What's a fountain picture without kids?? Yes, they got wet! They had fun playing in it!
While we watched the kids playing in the fountain, we saw Alex Boye come out of the restaraunt with his fiance. Since he sings in the choir with mom, she had to stop and introduce her kids and grandkids. We were lucky and got a picture with him!!
Our last stop on Temple Square was the South Visitors Center! This is the neatest thing! They have a doll size replica of the SLC Temple. It shows all of the rooms and the staircases. It's amazing and worth a visit if you're down in the SLC area.
These 2 girls did great but they were ready to go home at this point!
So was everyone else! All of the walking and the heat wore us out in a hurry!
I love spending time on Temple Square, regardless the weather. It's an amazing feeling as you walk the grounds and look at all of the beauty that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with.
