The most Magical Place!

Just a few pics with the characters! We didn't get pics with the princesses until Friday and Madison was very worried about where the princesses were at. Kenzie told her they were in the castle and we just need to find which room they sleep in!

All the grandkids in front of the castle!
Madison with Uncle Chris driving their car at Autopia. Uncle Chris was a favorite when it came to riding rides. Everyone fought over who got to go with Uncle Chris!

This is my favorite! Kenzie decided that she needed a nap while Uncle Chris was giving her a piggy back ride! We were in line for Finding Nemo at the time! What a trooper they both were! Thanks Chris for being so wonderful!

This was kind of fun! Tiff and Chris were our runners for our fast passes. We had 18 people with tickets and so at one point, we had 3 different fast passes and it was quite the wad of tickets! The workers didn't even count them when we would hand them to them. They just told us to go on in!

We got to go to Disneyland 3 days! Sunday we did some relaxing, went to church with Travis and Kristen and then had a bbq at Justin's Uncle Kims. Monday we got to go to Disney with Justin's cousin Courtney and her kids. They have yearly passes and go ALOT! They took us to quite a few things that day! Then Tuesday we went to Universal Studios and had a good day there. It wasn't very hot either of those days! We did get to see where the fire was. Wednesday we did laundry and hung out at Aunt Wendy's house. That afternoon, we met up with my family at the hotel in Anahiem. We were going to go to the beach but it was a little cold. So, we hung out in the pool for a few hours. It was fun to fill the hot tub with all the kids and grandkids. Thursday we had an early entry to Disney and so we headed off! If you know my husband then you know that he likes to have a schedule. He found this thing called Ridemax online and he did up a schedule for us! Let me tell you, it worked! We had so much accomplished by 11 am! It was great! We even got pics with the characters. We had a great day Thursday and the kids didn't even really complain. We did have an injury while getting in line for the Matterhorn. Emily hit her head on a fire hydrant that sticks out in the line. The park nurse checked her out, but only after Natalie helped take care of the situation (Nat is an RN! She was great! We did get blood on Emily's shirt and Mayci's blanket but all is well. Superglue and a butterfly bandage- works great!). Friday we spent our day at California adventure until about 5 pm. We found a great spot for the parade over at Disney and we also stayed for the fireworks- they were amazing! We had a great spot for those too! Disney does a great job at everything! We even got to see Tink fly at the fireworks- for reals! Kenzie and Madison were impressed! Saturday was our family relax day while the rest of my family hit Disney for 1 more day! Justin got to go golf with his brother after we went to the beach for about an hour or so. It was windy that day and so it wasn't as much fun as we'd would have liked it to be. The kids and I went to the hotel pool while Justin was golfing. Then we headed to Kristen's parents house and had a BBQ there and played in there pool. It was a great relaxing day! (OK- it was stress trying to drive myself to the BBQ. The GPS had me all frazzled, Mayci was hungry and screaming, we had to find a gas station fast since our van showed only 5 miles left in the tank to empty, Madison had to pea, we got stuck in traffic- luckily after filling up with gas. The first gas station didn't have pay at pump and the attendant wouldn't reset the pump so I drove across the street and paid 8 more cents- $4.49!!! ((That wasn't so bad of a price. We usually paid $4.29 but did see $4.99 once!)) We heard and saw an accident behind us about 3 cars and drove by another accident. We did make it in one piece though. I was that Justin was driving us back to the hotel. The kids were very tired at this point. Madison did a lot of crying at the BBQ.) We packed our stuff up that night and left Sunday morning about 8 am and drove all day! We got home and in bed just before 3 am Monday morning. We didn't get to sleep in though. The boys had a day camp Monday and today and I got to go help supervise. So, we all got up at 7 am and hurried to get out of the house by 7:40. I got home after 5 pm, made dinner, put groceries away and started laundry! Today was the same thing. I don't see life slowing down for a bit either. I think I liked my vacation better! There I didn't have to clean or make dinner! The hardest thing I had to decide was "ride Space Mountain again or California Screamer again?" We're definetely going back! Ask the kids and I'm sure they'll agree!

Sounds like you had a crazy intense vacation. Disneyland is so much more fun with kids. Glad you could go.
