Ice Cream Dip

Last Saturday was our annual Ward Ice Cream Dip! I love this activity since it involves swimming and ice cream. The ice cream being my favorite part usually. This year, however, it was a chilly 65 degrees outside!! When you schedule an activity on August 15th, you don' expect it to be so cold. The kids had a great time though. They all wanted to know where my swimsuit was and why Mayci didn't get to swim with us. I love this pool and it's perfect for little ones like Mayci. It's got a shallow beach like part that then wades into a deeper part. Justin and I took the girls to this pool the week of July 4th while the boys were gone and the kids all enjoyed it. Mayci even had a great time and wasn't afraid of the water. I was very excited to get to go to this party to get some pictures of Mayci swimming. These are the only pictures I got of her though. No suit! Just a cute little dress.

For some reason, my boys like to pick on all of the dads in the ward. The purpose for picking on the dad's this day was so that they could get thrown into the water. There were 2 dads that got no let up on the number of kids that were hanging on them the entire time. What good sports they were to let my boys pick on them.

Aren't these girls just too cute for words? Ryann, Shaylee, McKenzie and Madison were trying to ward up on the cement wall.

After our 2 hours of swimming, we got to go to the park nearby and have hamburgers and hotdogs and of course, ICECREAM!!! The kids liked the toys best of all!
