That day though, Kenzie opened a few presents. She got some styling sunglasses and also what every princess needs...
This was so funny! Mayci saw this bird walking around and she kept saying hi and waving to it. She loves to wave and say hi to everyone that we see. She wouldn't stop looking at this mascot though. After a few minutes of the mascot walking and talking to others around us, it decided it wanted to come and say hi to Mayci. Mayci squealed and smiled and was kind of excited to see him. That didn't last very long though. Once it got right by Mayci, she hung tight to my shirt and wasn't so sure of herself.
We tried to get her to give him "5" and that wasn't going to happen. We even tried to get her to give him a kiss. I had to demo everything and she still wouldn't try it.

She wanted nothing to do with him! Oh well, maybe another time!
We tried to keep Mayci entertained and she had fun for awhile pushing chairs around by the concession stands. Then Kenzie and I let Mayci show off with some sunglasses.
I think my kids closed the jump houses down. They played in the kid area for almost the entire game.
The Hawks lost the game but it was a fun game. They almost had it won and ended up barely loosing. I love spending time as a family anywhere. The funny thing that kids say and do will be fun to remember later. Oh, Grant and Austin got to go out on the field between one of the innings and sing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' with about 30-40 other kids. I tried getting a picture of it but it all happened so fast and by the time I had Mayci under control and got the camera ready, they were already coming back off the field.
After the jump houses were shut down, the kids sat up by us again and it was pretty dark at this point. We were sitting underneath one of the field light posts and it was swarming with bugs. Mayci was squealing at all the bugs that were all over Justin's back. She would put her finger on a bug and then squeal. She even grabbed one bug and squished it! She didn't get that from me. She must have watched her dad squish a bug before. What fun memories we made that night.
