Memories for my family

This was Memorial Day weekend. We invited about 5 families to go to the Drive-In movies with us! This is just a few of the kids!

Braydon and his friend Tren (under the Bronco's blanket) waiting in the back of the pickup for the movie to start

Bailey, Rebecca and Carter found a big tire to play in while waiting!

All of the adults up by the vehicles watching the kids run around, getting some of their energy out!
This would be after the movies! My girls were out for good! They ended up asleep in the back of the van!

I always loved to visit my Grandma and Grandpa during the summertime. They lived in Rexburg and we would go and stay for a few days at a time with them. We would always have icecream before bed and Grandpa had his popcorn tub filled for all the grandchildren and Grandma always had a cookie jar full of cookies! It seems like they would take us to the Drive-in movie every summer. We'd load up in Grandpa's truck with blankets and pillows and have so much fun. Here in the Boise area they have 2 Drive-In's! Justin and I now have gone a couple of times each summer and my kids love it! They movies don't start until dark but we have so much fun waiting for them to start. My kids love it because we have a couple of bags of popcorn, licorice, drinks, candy- the works! We load up the back of the pickup with our blankets, big bean bag, chairs- whatever and head out! They play 2 movies each weekend and we usually stay for both. The girls don't make it through both but the boys try real hard to stay awake for both! It's a great night out cause they only charge $6/adult and the kids under 12 are free! We probably spend more on the junk food that we bring in than we do getting the whole family in! It's a great memory that I hope my kids will remember the rest of their lives!
